What it is

Chip & Chair is a planning companion for live poker tournaments — pick events, decide bullets, review results. Less time on spreadsheets, more time playing.

What it isn't

Not a poker room. We don't handle buy-ins, satellite tickets, or any money. Buying in is between you and the venue. Tournament info is sourced from public listings — confirm critical details (start times, late-reg) with the organiser before you play.

Your account + content

Keep your login secure. Your plans, results, and notes belong to you. Delete your account any time from Settings → Danger zone.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping, automated access, reselling, or trying to break auth or other users' accounts. Don't upload illegal, hateful, or abusive content in notes or issue reports. You must meet the legal age to play poker where you live. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

Account termination

You can delete your account from Settings → Danger zone. Your data is kept in a deactivated state in case you ask us to restore it; contact support@chipnchairapp.com to wipe it permanently. We may suspend or terminate accounts for the misuse listed above, or after extended inactivity, with notice when reasonable.

Not advice

Suggestions are heuristics, not financial or gambling advice. Play within your means.

Liability

Chip & Chair is provided "as is", without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or availability. Tournament information is sourced from public listings and may be wrong — always confirm with the venue before you play. We are not liable for missed events, miscalculated late-reg windows, lost stakes, or any other losses from using the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months (currently zero — free during beta).
